About This Course
Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) is the only global recognized professional qualification for internal auditors awarded by Institute of Internal Auditor. The Program equips you with knowledge of Professional Practice Framework, organizational governance, tools and techniques to evaluate risk and controls. CIA are able to perform an audit engagement in conformance with the International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing and can apply the business, IT and management acumen needed for audits.
IIA is an international professional association with global headquarters in, Florida, USA. The IIA is the internal audit profession’s global voice, recognized authority, acknowledged leader, chief advocate, and principal educator. Members work in internal auditing, risk management, governance, internal control, information technology audit, education, and security. To enhance professionalism and promote internal audit, the Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) examination conducted by The IIA around the world.
The certification module is divided into three parts-I,II and III. Part I of CIA program focuses on essentials of Internal Auditing. Part II includes practice of Internal Auditing. Part III includes business knowledge for Internal Auditing. Certificate will be provided to candidates only if they complete all the examinations successfully.
CIA Eligibility
Candidates need to fulfill the following eligibility criteria to be eligible for the program.
